Simon has extensive project, programme and senior line management experience across multiple industry sectors, with particular emphasis in financial services. He has worked at all levels including board level for major blue chip companies. He is particularly skilled in change management techniques including benefits management, portfolio management and the effect of change on people.

He has led many regulatory and compliance programmes in a number of  national and international financial organisations including Mortgage Regulation, Markets in Financial  Instruments
